I shared these books turned pumpkins a few posts back...and while it looks o.k. up there.
Here is another take on the pumpkin...I used some burnt sienna paint with some
decoupage medium and just painted it on. It works to keep the pages closed and as a sealer.
I added a cinnamon stick & a wire leaf
On the pumpkin below - I made it half a pumpkin and used the book cover to hold
up the book pages and used the same painting technique from up above...added my cinnamon stem
and I used a leaf made out of the same book pages and added the decoupage medium
to the leaf and it gave a plastic feel - almost like tape ---very cool.
Oh and just to give you an idea...I added the Jack-O-Lantern face to the front
different but cute, right?
Just something to try.
